Sustainable Materials – Sustainable Foam

In partnership with BASF, we are proud to make a more sustainable foam option available to our customers. This new formulation uses biomass balance (BMB) polyether polyols as the starting point for our same great foam formulations. This means that, “BASF replaces a share of fossil-based feedstocks at the beginning of the production process with renewable, bio‑circular materials, while maintaining identical product quality and performance compared with conventional polyether polyols.
While the exact impact on carbon emissions will depend onthe specific customer circumstances, there is the potential for BMB foam toreduce product carbon footprint (PCF) emissions up to 75% compared toconventional flexible polyurethane foam systems.
